Meet Bubz - My super hyper adorably NAUGHTY house rabbit!

 

 

 

 

So this is bubz :], We bought him in june after me begging Martyn for a house pet of some sort, he wasnt to keen on the idea of a rabbit at first as he thought they were pretty boring (he was totally wrong!). I still remember his little face looking through the glass at me, he was undoubtedly the cutest rabbit id ever seen. I watched him for a bit just to see if he had any funny characterisitcs, & he did not fail to dissapoint. I was so excited I felt like a big kid again! I started to panic as children started to go towards his enclosure, "Mummy look at this rabbit" no no thats going to be MY rabbit I thought, quickly I got Martyn to tell the pets at home lady that that was the rabbit we wanted. She replied "Oh im so happy you want him, he was brought back a few weeks ago because he wasn't what they thought" - umm who on earth says that? Anyway more fool them because I have never met a creature like him, hes ridiculously naughty & hilariously funny. He does gay little rabbit dances when hes happy, chews my phone charger when im not looking, eats my hair, licks my nose, has snuggle time with me, chases after me, nibbles my clothes and flicks his ears when I tell him off and lots more highly entertaining things. We have also recently found out that he likes black music (never ever pays attention to the tv whatsoever until this one time when some black dude was singing - he sat mesmerized by him for about 5 minutes cocking his ears slightly). So thats bubz, I hope your all animal lovers cos you'll be hearing a heck of alot more about him in the not so distant future!!

Monday Monday

Please note - blog title is not a referance to the hearsay version! haha

So todays been a pretty awesome day for me, despite a "so called friend" showing their true colours last night (bad karma removed -> :]) I am having a particularly awesome start to my week! As part of my fashion degree we have to participate in 6 weeks placement. I was lucky enough to be going to work for a girl called Danielle Ferguson who I met last year when she was in her 3rd year. Her final collection for graduate Fashion week 2010 was awesome, one of my favs (and most peoples) was the teddy bear skirt (it can be found Here along with the other garments from the collection). She has now opened up her own shop in Northern Quarter Manchester.
I love her designs because there different to anything ive seen before, and its the kind of fashion that inspires me. I love her use of prints, from peter pan collars, buttons to smily faces & oversized bows! Her shop is currently being re-decorated & will be open soon. At the moment me & 2 other girls from salford university are helping her to toile her latest collection, which will be available soon! Im keen to get my hands on one of her designs, but im not sure which yet there all so amazing! Its really great to be working for someone who inspires me, I feel very lucky to have this opportunity & I look forward to the rest of the weeks! Almost Forgot to mention...........

Its mine & my Fiance's (Martyn) 3 year anniversary today!!! Eeep, its gone by so fast, he is the bestest fiance I could have ever asked for. Its been the best 3 years of my life, and I can't wait for the rest of the years together.
We have soooo much to look forward to, so thank you Martyn for being the love of my life & the bestest friend in the whole world - I love you forever & always xxx

Birthday Wishlist

So its my birthday in like 21 days, i'll be 25... 25 and still get told I look 18 - WINNER.
Anyway after the boy asking me what I wanted for my birthday and me looking at him just opening and closing my mouth with no words actually even coming out I have decided to collect a few things that I would love to recieve. Its really not like me to not want anything, im the ultimate shopoholic, shopping turns me into some mad obsessive impulsive weirdo where If I don't buy "that" dress I actually just pine after it for minutes, hours, days untill finally my boy decides that £30 isn't bad for a dress (and more often than not if he doesnt agree I go out and buy it anyway but I have to ask him - its a guilt thing! Hes a boy and NEVER buys anything appart from fresh meat from the meat counter at sainsbury's).
Maybe the reason I can't answer his question is down to the fact that for the past 2 months ive only been able to go from home, to uni, home, to uni, home, to uni... you get the picture, and besides not having the time ive also not had the funds thanks to my crazy expensive fashion course - funny isn't it im on a fashion course yet I can't even afford to keep up with the latest trends!!

Hello There Cuties!

Welcome to the Miss Cherries Boutique blog! 

First things first, I had better introduce myself! Im Vicky, im 24 years old (soon to be 25 yikes!) and I live in the wonderful city of Manchester! I moved here from North Wales 3 years ago to study Fashion at the university of Salford. I live with my fiance Martyn & my adoarble house rabbit - Bubz!


I have been wanting to set up a blog to coincide with my jewellery business Miss Cherries Boutique for quite sometime, but being on a very fast paced hardcore fashion degree ive never got round to doing so, until now.


So I bet your wondering what this blog's going to be about...
